Guess if they leave with no other memory card town to go to then they might still be in the game's data to receive letters but just not live in your town.
Started a new town this morning. A lot better than before. More kinds of animals closer together makes for more convient and interesting tasks. Like the new overall design of the town too. Only thing is everyone loves to get clothes and no furniture. The strange thing is the only one I miss from my old town is the mean yellow rabbit Gaston. Fun having him insult me. Oh well.
