Damnit.. Mr. Dressup's gone.. And the Friendly Giant.. and now Mr. Rogers! Oh god! It won't be a beautiful day in the neighbourhood tomorrow! Or the next day! Or the day after that!! ;_;
In all seriousness, I used to watch him as a kid as well a lot on PBS. I didn't have much of a taste for American TV; I hadn't even been watching the Simpsons by then.. but I got to watch Mr. Rogers. I could swear he was the most gentle man in the world--you could see it in his smile. I remember sticking with Mr. Rogers and Mr. Dressup for the most part when I was growing up. He was a cool man. I wish he could have stayed on this planet longer.
He touched the hearts of many. He will be missed.
