i used to know what it did. you can do it without downloading anything. its just changing a number somewhere.

but really it doesnt do a whole lot. and its hard to say when it does. like you said it was about the same when you did it right away. whos to really say you wernt going to get that speed this morning when you didnt run that program?

Then again if the setting on your PC was down for some reason it would help, internet speed is a tough thing to judge, expecially cable. goes up and down so much. I usually average about 2.8

But thats cool if your speed is up. helps for games. hehe
