Well, my parents met when they were 17 years old. They didn't really date seriously at the time, and they certainly didn't talk marriage then. But they did eventually marry, and some twenty years later, they are still together.
Of course, they had just recently come in from Vietnam, so their environment was very different. Maybe living in Vietnam just forces you to grow up fast in order to earn money and take care of all your younger siblings.
I'm 18, but I don't think I'm controlled by my hormones now. I certainly was back when I was 14, but at this point...well, you all know what my feelings on girls are. Good looks are nice, but great conversation is better. And if she has any interest in fiction writing...
And I know my roommate is capable of real love. He was 19 up until recently.
Then again, my roommate and I are definitely on the older side of the teenage spectrum.

What is love though? Many people argue it's just a feeling caused by hormones so we will reproduce. Most of the teenagers I know(friends and rest) aren't any where near capable of handling a full relationship. That's why they're never dating the same partner for more than 6 months.
I personally believe it's better to wait until a person's a bit older to pursue a relationship(unless you're in it for the sex)
I'm planning on not having a kid until i'm atleast 30.

lol... depends on what kind of love you are talking about.
I think any person is capible of loving another at any age... but being "in love" is somthing most people never grow to mature to. Age has nothing to do with it in my opinion.

Yes, I do believe in teenage love, but I also know that it is rare. Most relationships I hear about today are lucky if they last a month..but then you have the few that last up to 6 months..if they're lucky. I've been going out with my boyfriend Jason for 8 months now, and we're still going strong. We're also not one of those "let's go out just to have sex and let's call it love" relationships. I'm not saying that if you have sex in a relationship, that you're not in love, I just hear that a lot now'a'days. What I'm trying to say is that I do believe in teenage love. I feel that I'm in love, but I will also only be 16 in September. One more thing... I've noticed pretty much every post says "Girls make me horny", well I beg to differ. Girls do not make me horny.

that pretty much sums up how me and my last GF's relationship was... lasted a minute... then it turned into "let's have sex, don't call it love, and don't even tell people we are doing it"
Ahh yes, the good ol days

When women have kids around that age, they turn out to have mental or physical issues more often than usual.
I'm aiming for 24.

I hate girls who wear next to nothing just as their every-day clothes...
At my friend's school if you go down to the 6th grade area, a ton of 6th grade girls are wearing the same damn stuff... "Look at me I have pants that end half a centimeter below my ass"... 6th graders! And it's no better with the older ones... "Look at me, I'm a slut " KIDS THESE DAYS! *shakes fist* *falls down the stairs and breaks a hip*

That's more around 40 years old....and who said my wife is going to be thirty, are you saying that having a baby at 28 for a women is too risky? That's prime baby time.
Besides, many couples just don't have what it takes to raise a kid when they've just turned 20. The emotional ****ing up caused by having a kid is handled better by someone who's atleast gotten through their post secondary education and have gotten a bit stronger financial situation.
I don't want to make my wife give up her career(or my career) because of a baby at an earlier age.
Hell, i might even adopt a child. The physical **** ups that women get almost don't seem worth it.
