Re: Great blurb in the Chicago Sun-Times.
President Bush means that if you knowingly harbour terrorists, you are a terrorist. Not if you have a terrorist on your land who you don't know about... I thought that was pretty obvious...

Oh, but they know about them.
they are them.
I believe the number is 20 out of 25 of the 9/11 hijackers were saudis, not to mention countless other atrocities that the saudi's have committed both globally and domestically.
And then they run those vomit inducing "United States and Saudi Arabia" commercials.
Funny, you think it might have something to do with oil? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

And I would like to say that a large part of celebrities are Canadian. Jim Carey, Michael J Fox, etc...
So does that mean that all celebrities are Canadian? NO.
Canadians are also responsible for countless other well-meaning initiatives in the world - food and water in Africa, peacekeepers in war-torn countires, good things both globally and domestically.
Does that mean that all people who do good in the world are Canadian?
So, how on earth can you take 20 out of 25 hijackers and say that all Saudis are terrorists?
Indeed, I find the fact that the Saudi gov't hasn't been all that straightforward about terrorism troubling - but calling an entire country terrorists? How wrong is that?
Isn't it also troubling that in the recent 9/11 report your US gov't blacked out PAGES detailing Saudi involvement? What's Mini-Bush got to hide?

Um.... what?
That wasn't my point at all.
Did I ever say "all Saudi's are bad?"
The point is that, as far as threats go, there's a bigger threat of terrorism coming from Saudi Arabia than from Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan combined. Rather than doing something about it, we simply turn a blind eye while we needlessly liberate the crap out of poor Iraq and Afghanistan, and threaten Iran. The Saudis sell us oil and then turn around and use the money to fund more terrorism.
But who cares right? Blowing up towelheads is fun, no matter where they live! So lets just pretend that Iraq is a problem, drop some fire on that country so that we can exact some more revenge for Uncle Sam under the guise of "liberation" and continue to take oil from Saudi Arabia so gas prices will go down...... oh wait. That didn't happen either.

Why must liberals constantly fall back on racism and class warfare in their arguments? If blowing up "towelheads" is so much fun, we would be indiscriminantly be dropping bombs on all of them and then just take what we want. Your oversimplifications and attempts to paint those that disagree with you as evil and racist make you sound foolish.
Also, I've pointed out countless times why saying that the USA went to war for oil is wrong, so I won't repeat the reasons again. Lets just say that thinking that the US went to war with Iraq so that oil prices would drop is plain stupid and only serves to free you from the burden of thinking about the subject.

First of all, using, "Mini-Bush," makes you sound like a child. Second of all it's not what the U.S. government has to hide, it is what the Saudis have to hide.
