Re: Re: Re: Re: GTA3 and VC on the box
If all it is is a straight port with no major enhancements, then its not worth buying again. But if they actually take advantage of the XBox and make GTA3/VC look good, then it might be worth a buy.

For all the stuff that's in the game, and the huge city and all, I don't think VC looks all that bad... Do you expect them to have MGS2 graphics in a game with much larger areas, many more characters on screen, etc etc?

Oh yeh GTA Vice City
Started playing it thinking "whoa mad" then slowly got bored as I delved further into the game. Then eventually stopped playing it.

Sounds like my story with a lot of games... like Wind Waker and Mario Sunshine
(I'm not taking a shot at Nintendo, those are just the best two examples for me... alongside GTA:VC)

Well, I've never played either of these games so I'm actually kind of excited.

GTA3 was ugly as hell... VC looks good when the trails were taken off... maybe they will clean up GTA3 a bit to look like VC, well, hopfully they will.

Re: GTA3 and VC on the box
It's looking nice, except the backround in the third screen... but the draw distance seems to be farther, so it's all good.

I don't expect MGS2 graphics, but with what I saw, I don't see why Rockstar didn't take the time to make things look better. I doubt that game filled up a whole DVD, so maybe the extra space could've been used to up the graphics some. But oh well, its too late for them to do anything with the gfx's.
