is that how he looked in the real MGS1?
So far this game is looking a hell of a lot better than the Psx game...
Unless these pics are captured bad, (which I have neven seen IGN do to GCN) it's not going to look as good as MGS2... but anything better than the first is welcomed by me.

No it will look better than MGS2, maybe even MGS3 by the end of both their development (which should not surprise anyone).

Also, it wouldn't suprise me if it looked better, but right down it just doesn't.

You're right, there is no proof.
I would like to say, however, that the GC doesn't have the sort of direct video (or image) capture abilities that the PS2 or the X-Box have. From time to time that really does affect image quality.

Re: Re: Re: New Twin Snakes Stuff.
GCN and Xbox captures almost always look good... and Dreamcast. PS2 is the only one with some serious issues.
Either way, I can't wait for this game, I hope the game plays as good as MGS2.

Well, Gamecube is actually often critisized for bad captures. Though more recently its been less of a problem. In the early cube life a lot of games had bad captures.

The game IS in development, but so is MGS3 and there's not really any difference in quality, IMO... But whatever, who cares about the graphics, MGS2 graphics were great anyways and even if they were on the exact same level it'd be fine...

Actually it's more than one...
I'm sure there will be some graphical difference between MGS2 and MGS:TS (MGS2 was an earlier generation PS2 game afterall)... But MGS3? Eehhhhh I dunno... Then again they are set in two completely different places (A jungle with some indoor areas vs. Alaska with a ton of indoor areas)...
