I trust Capcom in the 2D department (even if the only 2D-ness of the game is due to Cell Shading). But, if the game's anywhere near as fluid as Marvel vs. Capcom 2, then it ought to be great.

You have to play the game to understand it at all. Before I played it, I couldn't have cared less about it. But it's a very fun game.
