Read the whole topic... some people have mentioned that...

When I played FFVII, I never saw any evidence saying that Holy wiped out humanity... People said "ooo it wiped out humanity, blah blah blah, and it's proven when in the future, Red XIII looks at Midgar and there are no humans", but no, what it proves is that Midgar was just abandoned and stopped sucking the life out of the planet after it was ravaged by Meteor and Shinra fell...

That's what I always thought that scene was meant to show... Then when I went to messageboards people talked about how it destroyed humanity and I was like "What!? o.O" and this sequel proves that wasn't the case...

Hint: Save your Chocobo Materia. And raise a Gold Chocobo. Its a pain, but it makes the end battle sooo much easier.

hell save all your mateira and dont speed thru the game rndm its too good of a game to speed thru the first time
