Mafia Round 2 – It’s a Trap!

How does our guardian get killed off in the first round? This kind of puts us in a jam, not to mention widen the confusion going on.

Dylflon, I hate to say it, but your actions have confused me as well. I'm not going to vote just yet, but I can't help but feel suspicious about you. I have to look at the first thread again.

Which is exactly why you should not vote for him.

Don't let this round go the way of the last. Manasecret would've been booted in a few rounds if he hadn't played, we just wasted votes voting for him. I don't think we should waste another vote on something obvious.

I misread his hints. That was my bad. I was convinced he was the vigilante and he let me think that he could be sure I was who I said I was when I seered him.

But none of that matters now.

Hopefully I can reveal what I find out this round quickly before I get taken out.

Honestly, I don't mean to pick on him or anything, but it does seem a bit suspicious when you think about it.
Dylflon enters the game, immediately starts shouting that he'll get killed. He demands protection. So he either really wants to play, he's a special good guy, or he's mafia.
He says he's the guardian. That's possible. I think Dylflon would know better to play open card, I've never seen it work in a mafia game... But I'm not sure about that. He might be honest.
He says he's sure the mafia will kill him unless he gets protection. He doesn't get killed. That could mean 2 things: the mafia assumed Dylflon would get his protection, so they voted for somebody else. A lucky hit: the guardian. Or Dylflon is actually with the mafia, so he didn't get voted.

Then in this round he can't prove he is the guardian, because guess what: his target got killed. Convenient or unlucky? I don't know.

On the other hand, Ric is trying very hard to convince us he is a good guy. But I do figure this is his first game, which might explain his enthusiasm.

Typhoid was protecting me last round, btw. The vigilante may have tried to kill me.


Vote for me, or don't vote for me. It doesn't make a difference either way. I'm not going to argue any votes against me. This would have ended up working quite well if Typhoid had not died...

So he contacted you hinting that he was someone important, and then BAM the mafia kill him, seriously, the chances of the mafia randomly selecting one of the important figuers in the first round are pretty slim.

I'm not wasting my vote. I said in round one, I would give Dylflon one chance to prove him self, and he has proven to me, that he's evil.

Edit: I thought about it, and heres my conclusion, he's bad, thats obvious, so how is it a wasted vote, the mafia wont kill one of their own, I'm keeping my eye on you Bube.

You know after reading Darmani's post, I think gonna take a weird stance and defend Dylflon here.

Dylflon has ran.. what 3-4 Mafia games here... I can't see him making such a rookie mistake as to hinting at the identity of the Vigilante and having that person die... especially first round. There would be no way, he would survive the entire game.

And honestly, my thinking is... that Dylflon will be found out by tomorrow. If he is still around, he is most likely Mafia, we know the Guardian isn't protecting him. If he is dead, we will find out his identity.

I don't know where to point fingers at yet.

Though will point out Vamp and Swan have been uncharacteristically quiet.

I need more time to think it over, I read that, then agreed with it, then as I clicked quote, I had a thought, what if he's not mafia, and the mafia decide to leave him alone, so he ends up geting the public vote, this is horribly confusing.

I thought Dylflon's actions were odd, but upon further reflection, if he truly was evil, I don't really know what he could have gained from last round.

However, as I read Darmani's posts, I can't help but raise an eyebrow. He was very determined to kill off Dylflon (even if he has changed his mind), even though everyone is almost sure Dyl is not evil. The whole situation is quite messy and we are required to vote... I don't know if I'll be able to access a computer later, so I'm going to go with my gut feeling for now. I may retract my vote if I have the chance.

Well, here's something else. Now that we're saying that we think Dyl will be killed by the mafia this round, I bet that they're talking behind closed doors that they shouldn't kill him. Because they know that if he isn't killed this round, we'll vote him out on the next.

This is confusing.

And Darmani, I'm not defending Dylflon, I'm just saying that his confession is huge, and we should at least give him some time to prove himself. We'll lose a lot if he's telling the truth. And like I said, he will be voted out/killed anyway in a few rounds..

Edit: And to be honest, I think BlueFire has a point there. I'd be lying if I said it didn't cross my mind to vote for Darmani..

Then my other theory is on Combine. Here we are, thinking who could be what and stuff, and he just randomly spurts out a name. I don't think that's a pretty safe way to play, especially with our guardian gone.

I think that if he was good, then he wouldn't be blindly voting, taking the risk of voting one of his own out.

So for now, !vote Combine.

Damn. I have no clue who to vote for. If we don't vote for Dylflon the mafia will either kill Dylflon this round or save him so we become more suspicious of him and then vote for him...unless he someone proves himself.

I heard from a secondhand source that Typhoid did in fact pretend to be the vigilante to Dylflon for whatever reason. Either way, its odd the mafia killed the guardian on the first attempt.

Just going to go with !vote Swan for now so I get a vote in. Also the incessant beeping and whistling is getting on my nerves.
